Paul Watson
executive manager, member choice & advice, HOSTPLUS
Paul leads and manages HOSTPLUS’s Member Choice & Advice Division and contributes to the development and implementation of the Fund’s strategy, business plans and product development. His is also responsible for the Fund’s Public Offer, post-retirement and ancillary products and its financial planning department.
He has over 22 years' experience in the superannuation and related financial services industry, across a broad range of business disciplines. Before joining HOSTPLUS, he held several senior executive roles, including Chief Executive Officer of Military Super, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Reward Investment Alliance and Deputy Executive Director of the Motor Trades Association of Australia (MTAA) Superannuation Fund.
Prior to these executive roles Paul worked as a senior officer in several federal government agencies, where he contributed to the development of policy and the delivery of targeted national and scheme education superannuation campaigns. He also assisted in the management of the federal parliamentary superannuation scheme.
