Bill Shannon

principal, The Shannon Company

In 1991, Bill founded Shannon’s Way, setting out to build a traditional advertising agency albeit with a skew towards social marketing, Bill became increasingly interested in how he could effect permanent life-changing behaviour. In 2010, the name of the business was changed to The Shannon Company, formalising its evolution to a specialist consultancy uniquely dedicated to the study and practice of behavior change.

Through its work, The Shannon Company has convinced householders to use less water, helped problem gamblers seek counselling, influenced employers to manage safer workplaces, and shown Australian workers how to maximise their superannuation savings from the ravages of commissions, to protect retirement.
